Drifter of the Day- Jase Sellers
“Which one was that bro, I can never tell?”
If you’ve ever been in that boat at an NZ drifting event, chances are it’s the Sellers Brothers you are talking to, and you’re trying to work out if it’s Matt or Jason you have just been speaking with.
Fortunately I’ve now met the boys enough times to work out which one goes with the Black and Green C33 Laurel, and which is the pilot of the Green S14.
So ladies and Gents, todays Drifter of the Day is former #2nz Jason Sellers. 
Jase, What’s happening man, The c33 is looking nice and fresh for the season
Thanks, We’ve put a lot of hard work in over the off season. We got pretty down on some of last years mishaps and I was lucky enough to be able to use Matt’s car a fair bit of the time, bit hard tho when you should have 400kw and you’ve got 200 instead! I think the only guy that had worse luck than us was Gaz Whiter, and who knows how that team kept finding motors and a way to win?
Dad (Crew Chief Peter Sellers) and I and a few others have gone over just about everything on this car now so I can’t wait for the season to start properly.
I see a few new graphics there too?
Yep, Supercharge Batteries have stayed on board, and we have picked up support from Redline Performance and Luxury Sports which has made things a bit easier for us. E & H motors are still looking after the tuning and we think we’ve got all the bugs out of the 2JZ now.
Tires don’t seem to last long?
403kw bro, hahaha, nothing lasts long with that sort of power.
So, who’s gonna qualify number 1 at Manfield?
I AM!!! Well at least I f*cken hope so! ha, Always gotta look out for Curt Whittaker and Gaz Whiter tho, those guys are the benchmark at the moment.
Who do you think will surprise?
Any of the guys outta rookie last year, Niko, Dimitri Amos, Darren Benjamin, they are all a bit unknown to us so battling them for the first time will be a challenge. Niko’s been at a few more events, so like other guys have said he’s less a surprise cause we know how good he is.
Lastly, were you and Matt really in a Disney Movie? So you guys are like Nz’s Olsen twins?
